Dette skoleprosjektet ga meg muligheten til å brekke om boken «Det Felles Eide», en samling tekster fra ulike forfattere om kunst i det offentlige rom. Fremsiden brukte jeg til å illustrere «Det offentlige rom» som er mellom og i bygningene. På fremsiden brukte jeg noen gamle paspatur-utskjæringer, og kombinerte dem med noen blå ark i en scanner. Bildet får en del liv og tekstur av prosessen. I arbeidet med boken eksperimenterte jeg med fotnotene, og omformet dem til sidenoter. Jeg tilpasset layouten for å gi plass til den lengste fotnoten på en side. Bildene var av lav kvalitet, så jeg valgte å ha dem i svart-hvitt sammen med sidenotene.

This school project gave me the opportunity to reinterpret the book “Det Felles Eide,” a collection of texts from various authors about art in public spaces. I used the front cover to illustrate the “Public Space” that exists between and within buildings. I incorporated some old passepartout cutouts from my time as a framing worker, combining them with blue paper sheets in a scanner. The image gains a nice texture from this process. In working on the book, I experimented with the footnotes, transforming them into side notes. I adjusted the layout to accommodate the longest footnote on a single page. The images were of low quality, so I chose to present them in black and white alongside the footnotes.
